wilsongoddard The pay for writers is low across the board, not just at Helium. Unless you are writing for some of the top magazines (which often only accept agented submissions) or have a decently-selling book on the market, it is difficult to make a good living off of...

Sillychick I write on Helium because it is a great place to network with other writers and get feedback on my work to improve my skills. The pay is not a lot, but the other benefits make it worth the effort. Plus, you retain non exclusive rights to all of your work...

mscott I guess if someone goes back that far to search out a discussion then they have a right to leave a comment. I do not think if they haven't been on here for a year they are going to be doing much earning let alone worry about collecting any of it....

RDugas I have had some "yeah right" answers and I just take them with a grain of salt. You dont know these people, you'll probably never meet any of them and they dont pay your bills. I wouldnt let it bother me one bit!
