werdan88 No. That is not necessary. Anyone who wants to run has the right to run. Difference in capacity does not prevent him from doing so. Qualifications to run from office is different from being seated in that position. The chances that unqualified people would win...

werdan88 No. That is not a necessary condition. The constitution even protects the president from leaving her position before her term ends. The purpose is to ensure stability in the government. There is no twisting of the rules in relation to this issue.

werdan88 Actually, I do not think the problem would be in congress. on the contrary, it is the judicial department we must beware of. SOme of their appointments were made by GMA and thus the sense of "utang na loob" may come into play.
