Wizzywig Different varieties of apple cook better than others and are often too sharp for most people to eat raw. I've just cooked the rhubarb from my garden to put in a rhubarb crumble. Plums and gooseberries make good crumbles too.

vingyan06 Yes, I cook apple before. I cut the apples in to half and put them in a slow cooker. Add in water and start cooking. You may add some sugar too. It served to my babies when they are still small and could not eat the apple as it is too hard for them. Try it out...
