yelpfish I don't know about catching mumps and measles. Those can have very long term health repercussions, and I really see the benefit in vaccinations for things like that.

I have heard that it is harmful for the child if there is a animal with fur running around. For one it could bite and secondly they can cause them some type of health issue down along the road. What do you think?

yelpfish Unless there are allergy issues or the animal is untrained and supervised, I can't see any reason why having a furry pet around would be a problem. Basically, as long as you supervise the interactions between the pet and the child, things will go smashingly....

yelpfish I usually eat my fill. That's not always everything that's on the plate, so I leave what I can't eat. I'm not a modest person and don't mind cleaning my plate, but restaurant portions tend to be much, much larger than what I can comfortably eat. Thank goodness...
