One of my friend informed me that the idea of having the bite on the apple logo is to not to confuse apple with tommoto.

Patsie Hatley hi anshulmahajan I googled it and got the same information as one ofour my lotters, the bite symbolizes the scientist who died from eating a poisoned bite of apple. That really makes better sense than the other ideas.
