Are you 'closer' to your DAD or your MOM?

As for me, I tend to be closer to my Mom than my Dad. Its not that I prefer Mom over Dad, its just that I'm more cmfortable talking with Mom. How about you?

I see where I can rate a comment by hitting the + for a good one or a - for a bad one. But what does that do? Does it determine how much the person gets credit for the comment? What about the Best Responses? Does that help...

I won a free trip to Jamaica from the radio station I listen to. We're leaving Dec 7th and coming home Dec 10th. We really only have 2 full days there and our plan is to sit on the beach and by the pool and just RELAX....

reinydawn Thanks!! We leave in a couple days and are sooo excited. We got almost everything packed last night - the bathing suits are going in our carry-on in case the luggage gets lost. I'll be on the beach for 3 days!!!

reinydawn Thanks, it's really hard to get your point across sometimes when it's different from others. I do usually just say something like "we've already got the trip planned" or "there wont be enough time for that"
