bournecaindelta as you said it.. must be marketing.. See Wii was released keeping the East in prospect of market. The games mostly are anime games which are liked by the Japanese a lot [ no being a racist ] , so it kinda clicked there. Its just the regional thing.

foxyfire33 There aren't rules about who you can or can't request as a friend. So yes you can request someone you've never responded to. But friendships here are better if you have something in common. So if you can't respond to any of their discussions, why would you...
