Great_Nate I myself just got a Nikon D50. Canon is just as good as Nikon. Features are more or less the same. Just go to a store and handle both cameras and see which one feels the best.

Great_Nate I have a Nikon D50. I'm a poor student so all I have is a 50mm AF lens. I'm going to buy a 19" widescreen LCD monitor and a Spyder2express to aid my photo edting. I'm also saving up to get a 18-200mm VR.

Great_Nate WARNING! DO NOT BUY FROM THAT WEBSITE!! That website is one of many that show a low price but when you try and order they say the batter, cables, etc are not included and charge you a ridiculous amount for them. That is a good deal for that camera, too...

Great_Nate There isn't one best brand of cameras. There are alot of cmareas that are great from diffrent makers. It's just a matter of what features your looking for. Just make sure you research and compare cameras and get a camera that fits your needs.

Great_Nate I've read a couple sites that say per print its cheaper to have them printed for you rather than print them out your self. I got myself a coupon for sutterfly so I'm going to try that out.

Great_Nate I just got a Nikon D50 and I'm very happy with it. I also wanted a Nikon D80 but I was on a limited budget. The only thing that I miss on the D50 that the D80 has is DOF preview and an illuminated top LCD. Its no big deal though, I just check the rear LCD...

Great_Nate I try to each time I make a new discussion. The only time it doesn't happen is if I forget to. I hate when someone does a topic that I've already done, I would only assume other people would feel the same way.
