I like it becoz it have internet explorer 7 and window media player 11 .directx 10 most importantly . all the games run faster then window xp and its reliable

JOJAN_MOO I LOVE it. But liking it for IE 7, WMP 11, and DirectX 10 is kind of odd. It is also available for xp.

JOJAN_MOO Yes and No. Yes it is too expensive, but only if you buy a new copy, Upgrades are around $300 for Ultimate. It would be nice to have ultimate for less but i am fine with it. No because they offer lower priced versions.

JOJAN_MOO I have used many browsers and found that Firefox is the best. Opera used to come with spyware and IE doesn't protect as well.

JOJAN_MOO I have used RC1, RC2, and the final release and can tell you that VISTA gets better and better. Even without a graphics card ultimate is just fine. Just make sure you have MORE than 512mb of ram if you plan on using any version better than home basic.

JOJAN_MOO I couldn't wait so i went to use the betas. An they work great even without a graphics card. I use Ultimate.

JOJAN_MOO Vista has not been released legally but to large companies. But if you have a beta key you can legally get rc2.

Why Microsoft changed the code name LONGHORN to VISTA?

JOJAN_MOO From what i have heard Microsoft did not change the name form Longhorn but added Vista, and made Vista the home and Longhorn the server version.

JOJAN_MOO I will buy Ultimate, but for now i will use RC1. And I prefer to use the legal version. But you can get around the activation with the pirated copies.
