KidKarma Yes, thank you! I googled Caprice wafers and found that they are known as "Viennese Wafers". I guess they're not Italian after all!

KidKarma Yes, that is very close to what I'm thinking of. But there's a different name, not a brand name, for this type of chocolate filled rolled wafer. You have definitely set me in the right direction though. Thank you very much!

KidKarma No, it's not a cannoli, but thank you for your reply. It's much thinner and now that I think about it, I believe the cookie part of it is like a very thin chocolate/vanilla twist cookie.

Actually I just learned it via the net. Everybody loves chocolate, however, it is a deadly thing for a dog. Perhaps it is better to believe it although I am not sure whether this is true or not. I don't want to take a risk.
