Mrs. U @LadyDuck, we, too. Hubby and I sort of agreed to semi-retire from the 8-5 office jobs and hie off to the province for simple living. We usually wake up at 5:30 am or earlier to jog or to do early farm errands. From yuppies to farmers, we are.

Mrs. U @mlgen1037, it depends on your pace or how fast you run. It also depends on the fun run organizers how they allot time for each race type. For this, hubby ran his 16K for more or less 2.5 hours.

Mrs. U @LadyDuck, yes. its 'fruit' is a long flat pod which is also edible. But I haven't tasted the pod yet, just its flowers.

Mrs. U For this one, it had 2 types. My hubby was into 16K; me and my boy tried the 8K. Since my kid kept lagging behind, so we opted to jog and walk and took pictures. Let the professional running to his dad.

Mrs. U Cold and dark and comfy to go back to sleep, @LadyDuck. Yeah, I agree with you. But for people who are into a fun run, it is an appropriate time to assemble runners as streets were remote from traffic. What's the waking or busy time in your place?

Mrs. U Yup, past 5 am. While some of the common folks are still nestling in bed, these farmers are already at their busiest time harvesting crops. Because if later than that, it will be scorching hot for them already by 8 am.

Mrs. U Thanks! We just assembled around 4 am and we started our fun run a few minutes after. I'm with my little boy. Thus, I can not do much of the running but more of taking pictures, haha!

Mrs. U I just notice the fog now that you mention. Well, it seems it starts at one level going up. You can see that there's foggy part in the silhouette of trees at the backdrop. And yeah, I agree, live full in simplicity!
