Have you ever been frustrated with discussions that you've been involved in or felt that you were being treated unfairly on this site for any reason? Perhaps you didn't like the way others responded to you, or perhaps you were...

Right now. If you think that I am going to be anything less than honest and sincere with you. I am not talking about being mean and uptight. But when you hit me with a serious subject, I am going to go with my gut feeling. I may...

Nardeeisms I'm not sure what your definition of "friend" is, but I certainly agree with you when it comes to "telling it like it is". Personally, I post just to join in for lively civilized discussion. I welcome differences of opinion, but when it gets to be too much, I...

I'm speaking in terms of actual, physical things. Not like a fear of being alone, a fear of dying, a fear of speaking in public.. fear of going to the doctor..
What physical object do you fear?
I have a bad fear of spiders....

What do you all think about the possible new (not sure if it is country wide or just california) but they are considering making it "law" that pregnant women are eligble for handicap parking. Don't know the details, and I really...

Nardeeisms I'm not sure if I agree with the blanket law covering "all" pregnant women, but I do agree that it needs to be addressed on a case-by-case basis. When I was pregnant, I happened to be high-risk and couldn't walk more than a short distance before absolutely...

Nardeeisms Personally, I like Bugs Bunny and Looney Tunes. I learned to "get it" on a deeper level. I looked at them one way as a child and in quite another way when I grew up. In fact, a lot of classical music is featured in many of them. So sometimes if you wonder...

Has anyone read any of Joel Osteen's books? I am not the type of person to go to church every day, but he seems really inspirational to me. I was thinking of using one of my Amazon gift certificates to purchase his book. I am into...

Nardeeisms Like Jill, I also read "Your Best Life Now" (twice). What I really appreciated was the spiritual, yet non-denominational approach to overcoming life's roadblocks. Not "churchy". No fire and brimstone here!!! Just basic common sense and positive cheerleading.
