OllieW What about social services/home help? Other members of the family? You and your husband can only do so much without sacrifising your children's needs. I've got mother-in-law who could be the same about shopping. Once she phoned me - emergency!! I need veg...

And she will not listen to her, runs away from dinner table and being generally 'naughty'. The thing is, she is as good as gold with other teachers. I do talk to my daughter and explain her that this behaviour is not acceptable...

OllieW Thanks nmhschic, I'll try to talk to other parents and maybe to my daughters key worker. It's not the first time my daughter has been naughty with this one teacher, she does try to push boundaries with others as well (as they do at this age), but problems...

OllieW I did, she just says 'I don't like her because she tells me what to do' !! Cannot quite reason with 4 y.o. child.... Mind, other teachers tell her what to do as well, and she does.

For me I find I have these odd days where I cannot get motivated in any way. I find it hard to get to the housework enjoying it the way I usually do. I was wondering if anyone else goes through this and what do you do to get that...

What types of things do you buy at Christmas? I like to buy the kids things they need Clothes, and things they can learn from with an extra gift that they would really want. What do you look for when buying Christmas gifts?

OllieW Not really, I only work part time (as in paid job). But I'm a Virgo so plan everything. Then get bored with it all... My best anti-depressant - take a day off and bugger off shopping. Window-shopping more like, with occasional luxury of new lippy.
