PetQueen Unfortunately, you can't make a person quit smoking. He has to be ready to do that on his own. He needs to set a quitting date and do it. He can call 1 800 NO BUTTS and they are able to assist him by quitting smoking.

PetQueen go to the HGTV website and look under Vickie Howell program. You will find projects for beginner there, including the patterns. I have watched a few shows and they really make cute and easy stuff. Try it.

PetQueen I do the same thing. I buy yarn today and might use it later for a project. I do the same thing with fabric, adding and adding to my stash, because I know, I will never run out of projects.

Circular versus "Straight" Knitting?

Which do you prefer? Now that I've been knitting for a few years, I much prefer knitting in the round, because there tend to be less seams. I love knitting, but I hate the finishing.

PetQueen I like to knit with circular needles, because it is easier to cary your project along. Actually, I like to knit the pieces individually and then seem them together. To finish up the seem, I just crochet the pieces together, it is very simple.

PetQueen That is very special. Thank you for sharing. My mom used to be my best friend and I could talked to her about anything and she never was judgemental. She gave me good advise and left it to me to make my own descision. I miss her a lot.
