ReginaGY I had to learn latin at school and it was indeed mysterious to me! lol I was very bad at it and I know very little latin now, because I forgot about most of it (after all, you don't get to TALK in latin very often these days... ;)).

ReginaGY Now, come on... that depends on the definition of "mountain", doesn't it? Of course there are some hills in the southern Netherlands, but compared to the alps... no, not really ;)

ReginaGY Um... in Berlin there are quite a few interesting things to see, I guess. Munich isn't that special, but ok too... But I don't know why you wanna see Frankfurt? That's nothing special at all; just a few big banks and that's about it. If you're in that area...

ReginaGY Yes, I do. As stated above I like books by Theodor Fontane, Mike Gayle, Douglas Coupland and Franz Kakfa (for example) AND Harry Potter! Well... and the bible ;) But that's not really prosaic... ;)

ReginaGY Oh, there's something else! Germany clearly aren't as patriotic as Americans are! In fact you mustn't be too proud of Germany as a German or you'll be called a right-winged. AND sth. else which just comes to my mind: Christianity isn't a very big subject...

ReginaGY It's not really correct, that "most people speak English". It's trut that we have a lot of anglicisms in Germany and most of the people do speak English a little bit. -Enough to explain the way to the station or to tell you were the next shop is. Maybe even...

ReginaGY You didn't have any luck and that's why you gave up on it? Hiob didn't have that much luck either, but in the end God was always there for him. You can doubt and you can be desperate, but there is no reason to "give up" your believe in God. I know someone...
