Do people really sell old computer parts - hard drives modems mother boards and the like on ebay...even if they don't work? I was reading online that some people look for the parts even if they dont work to salvage the gold...

Tigger679 Nancy Drew games are my FAVORITES. I download them from BigFish.com - save my credits for them, LOL. I just finished Kapu Cave and before that, Phantom of Venice. BigFish only has one more game that I haven't played yet, though (the Ghost Dogs one) so I guess...

I'd like to get a new floor stand for my cross-stitching comfort. The cheapie I have now is really rickety. Has anyone used the "Stitcher's Wonder"? How did you like it?

I have always wondered why a book is called a book? I tried asking this questions in other sites too but to my surprise no one knows it.. Any answer for this guys???

Tigger679 Is this what you want to know - the history of the word "book?" Here's a website with the "etymology" or history of words - etymonline.com Look up "book" - I always find it interesting how various words came to be.

My son is ADDICTED to all of the shows on Noggin- especially Wow Wow Wubbzy and Yo Gabba Gabba and these shows drive my nuts because I hear them all day long! DO your little ones watch Noggin all day long?

Tigger679 We kind of rotate between Noggin and Sprout. I like the content of Sprout's programs, esp. the whole morning show thing (it's a cute idea - kid-oriented, live morning show) better, but I HATE the infomercials they play once an hour. Occasionally we watch...
