asweetie i THINK it depends on how high is the temperature and how quickly you want to bring it down. If the temperature is really very very high then you need to put on ice cold water and if the temperature is not that high then you would want it to comedown gradually...

derlilaStern I love to eat bread - fresh out of the oven, from the store, or toasted! It really doesnt matter. What your friend may be true, but I wouldnt take that to mean you can eat more. If any of the calories are lost, it is probably only 1 or maybe even less than...

macdingolinger It would be great if this were true!! Wow! Just toast bread and you can eat more! I have never heard that before. I am not saying that it is untrue, but I guess it gives me something to research this afternoon!

paula27661 I am certain that toast and untoasted bread have exactly the same number of calories because what you put in the toaster is exactly the same things that pops up again! Bread comes out lighter after it has been toasted because water is lost during the toasting...

Anora_Eldorath Agrim- I haven't heard this one, and I even went looking around tonight to see if anything popped up, yet I found nothing. I'll be interested to see what other mylotters have to share. I would think that the best diet is one that consists of whole grains....

moondancer Changing their food has a tendancy to upset their stomach. You should stay with the same food. This is what the vet says. If you wish you can give them treats or add some food to what they are use to eating.
