infoman I bought when I was young. It is not very hard, just have to have a little bit of a credit history...doesn't even have to be that good. It gives tax breaks and is financially a smart choice in the long run. Talking USA here. Now own a home outside of USA...

infoman I have used apple and they have some high points. Especially like how easy media can be implemented and manipulated with most apple computers. PC's have some learning to do in this regard, but overall there is much more flexibility and control with PC's.

infoman Custom for Desktop...is most likely correct, but it is also hit and miss. Unless you know what you are doing or know someone who is good at it. Lot's of customs have problems, but when they are right they are the bomb. Laptops is a different story.

infoman Gateway has been tops for me for 3yrs now. Dell is a close second. Gateways laptops are much sleeker and have a less bulky feel.
