amyoftherealm My freshman 15 went in the reverse direction! All of my friends gained weight, but I dropped 10 my first semester, then another 5 the second.

What is your major in college? I am a Computer Informations Major. I will get my AAS in CIS in May2010.. I can not wait. How many of you have declared a major. Oh I also made the deans list this semester. im so excited.

amyoftherealm I have a declared major in English and a minor in economics, but I intend to drop the econ minor and declare a double major in English/astronomy in the spring. Three semesters left to go.

amyoftherealm One of the problems with Pluto is that it did not clear the space around it. As for why we can define planets, we assigned the term to planets in the first place. The distinction between planets and dwarf planets is just a somewhat arbitrary...

amyoftherealm I have not seen Halley's comet, but I did see Comet Holmes (17P/Holmes) a little over a year ago when it was in Perseus. It was amazing! I saw it both naked eye and with an 8" reflecting telescope.
