beetham Check next to the "Ctrl" key. There should be a "Fn" (or function) key depending on the make/model. Try unplugging the cable so you experience the dark screen. Then hold the "Fn" (or function) key, and press the up arrow repeatedly until the screen is bright...

beetham In my home, we have 3 desktops wired into a hub, that is wired into the router, which is wired in the the cable modem. We use the wireless router to handle the 2 laptops we own.

beetham Addictinggames.com is pretty cool (mainly just simple, flash games). Pogo.com is another one where you can actually go head to head with other users and play board games such as checkers, monopoly, scrabble, and many other types of games.
