I'm reading a book now called Dying for Chocolate. It's a mystery and so far it seems like it's going to be pretty good. The cool thing about it is it's about a caterer so there are recipes throughout the book.

bigfootspartan Oh yeah, the author is Mark Z. Danielewski. He also wrote The HUndered Year Sword as well as ONly Revolutions. I can't comment on the Hundered Year Sword, but Only Revolutions is quite good, though it doesn't live up to House of Leaves.

bigfootspartan this book is absolutely fantastic, everything from the creation of the characters, to the total sense of unease throughout. While its not really a horror there are a few parts that engulf the reader. I don't think I have read a book that matched this books...

bigfootspartan Hmm, well I'm not completely familiar with the newer stuff, I'm still a big fan of the stuff of How Strange, Innocence. I would say at the moment, "Time Stops". It seems like it changes all the time though.
