I had a dog that needed a shampoo every 15 days, but I was wondering - do you have to shampoo your cat?

Will my cat be okay if I have my mom take care of him for a week and won't see him? I mean, my mom will make sure he's fed and stuff but he's timid and also a little aggressive, and yet clings to be a lot.
I just am kind of...

I've been helping my friends adopt out some feral kittens they rescued. We've got 3 of 4 adopted out, but now the 4th one is 4 months old. We've been referring to it as being 16 weeks old, but still, when the last potential...

Tonight, my Waffles cat was chasing her toy balls around and meowed as she played. I thought it was very cute. Eventually, she became tired of it all and hopped back on my bed to sleep.
Some cats are quite vocal as they play,...

My sort of step son (lives with the grandparents) has two cats. One is mean but the other is a really sweet fluffy white cat. The problem is they had to make him keep them outside because he was refusing to clean up after them....

cheetah311 I agree with the other poster about the flea medication from the vet. You should ask the vet about problems with touching the cat. I would think it would absorb into the skin and it shouldn't be a problem but ask the vet.
As for the fleas in the house, my...

cheetah311 Right now I have a total of five cats. Three of my cats came from my sister-in-law when she passed away (she had 10 which she rescued and I found good homes for the other 5). I originally took 5 but 2 have since had to be put down.
The 2 others I picked up as...

The funniest thing happened tonight. I just had to tell my son, and we both laughed about it.
I have four cats. The last one is a stray that came into the house while I was putting out the garbage and decided she just wasn't...

cheetah311 It must have been so funny to see him do that. I know my cats know what gets them in trouble and what they shouldn't do and I think it's just that they like to test us to see how far they can get. He probably decided he wouldn't be able to get away with it and...

What's with me? I am loosing it? This is scary. I cannot remember names or numbers that I should know. Sometimes, when talking, I cannot even remember the word. Even typing is getting hard. Has anyone ever gone though this?

When you are not busy, bake your favorite cake, without frosting, and freeze it. It will hold for 3 months. Then when you need it, take it out and cut it frozen. Also frost when it is frozen, as it will have less crumbs. to make a...

People will do anything short of killing
to prove their religion is IT. Of course
There was a time when killing someone was
an everyday occurrence because their beliefs didn't
conform to yours.

My cat Nor has been sneezing and has watery eyes since he arrived a year ago. Sometimes he does this "marathon sneeze" where he sneezes up to 10 times (yes, I've counted) in a row without stopping. I was afraid he's going to have...
