Well, I couldn't help it. Who wouldn't weep? These were HUGE onions, and I had to make omelet double quick for lunch. And as I chopped these onions the tears trickled down my cheeks, and I could hardly see what I was chopping....

dawnmiller I think one way to elimanate it is to regridgerate them but I also believe this takes away some of the flavor of a nice onion. Want to know my big secret? I buy them already chopped at the store...I cheat.

dawnmiller I had all four done at once. It is easier to just get them all done at once. It was not painful really, they had all four teeth out in about and hour. They will either numb you very well, or you can even get gas if you prefer. I would recommed getting them all...

dawnmiller I have tried it and it really bothers me. I dont know what it is but I just feel like I am going blind when I do that. My daughter opens hers all the time though and loves it....I cant even get her to wear goggles. I guess it just depends on the person.

dawnmiller This is so important to do this like this with your children. I do something similar but she is 6 and carries her own little purse and pays for her own. But it is a great learning exercise...she loves it when they hand her money back too.

dawnmiller Personally I think it looks okay on him....not many people could pull it off but I think he does. I just have no clue how someone could stand all that hair hanging off their head, but hey if he can than whatever.
