What kind of things do you absolutely have to buy new, and what are some things that you will always try to get used or preowned before paying full retail? (any good websites to get the products you buy would help too) Thanks!

devildog683 very true my little sister got some at a thrift shop once and actually caught some kind of foot fungus.....it is hard to clean shoes, its not like they can throw them in the laundry before bringing them into the store

devildog683 The phone comment is a gem. I always acknowledge the customer and usually cover the mouthpiece to the phone and say " I'll be right with you" with a smile....it's common courtesy, but sometimes I wonder if it is a lost art!!

devildog683 I think you are absolutly correct. I dont need someone to treat me like a child either. If I go into a place and they just say "Hello, let me know if you need anything" and then leave me alone, I feel relaxed and take my time shopping!
