When do you put up your christmas decorations?

So it's coming up to the festive season and lights are being hung and gifts bought. When do you usually decorate your house for christmas. Do you do it weeks in advance or on christmas eve. We are putting ours up this weekend.

geeann we're planning to put it up around the second week of december. we will not be buying new decors this time, we will just recycle what we've used last year.
