Bebs08 for me, that is a wrong kind of discipline. Threatening a kid to be given to people just because they misbehave is not proper. Why not tell them the eight thing to do? They just need proper guidance and advice on how to behave well in the public or wherever...

shannon76 Nothing good EVER comes out of lying to your child. I agree with you, they don't have to give every single detail but surely give them enough information that it will satisfy their curiosity.

ilove2shop I can not stand a really bad waiter or waitress! Get another job!! whew, sorry....anyway.... I also can not stand it when I am in a check out line and the register next to me opens up and takes the people "behind" me...gee whiz, I was next! :-)

byfaithonly Wow - I agree with everything Rose said right down to the Cheerios, it really does work. I've potty trained 3 boys and helped with 2 grandsons now and following the tips above worked with all except for the oldest 2 they didn't have pull-ups in those days but...
