ice_princess ah, then he would not be a stay-at-home dad. He would be unemployed and single. We have a very equal relationship, and are both expected to pull our own weight. That includes housework, cooking, etc.

ice_princess Absolutely. In fact, that is the general plan right now. I made it crystal clear to the man that I have no intention of being a stay-at-home mom, and I have no problem utilizing daycare, but he is more than happy to stay-at-home, so why not?

ice_princess A queen size bed does not accomodate 4 labradors & 2 people that well. So, no, they don't get to sleep with us that often. BUT - when he's out of town.....I have my girls to keep me warm, and they are absolute bed hogs.
