jodie_warner06 As a scholar once said "everything in moderation" and I was doing nothing in moderation... I hope that I am an example for her, I mean I gave birth to her during finals week and wrote a research paper in the hospital :)

I have a lap-band and am trying to lose all the baby weight, Ive had the lap=band for years, and its never really worked for me at all! Any one else have one? did it work or no?

jodie_warner06 A lap band is like a zip-tie for the stomach. It restricts your food intake. It is a tool however and not a solution. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt. I dont eat more than a 1000 calories most days, but for some reason I have a hard time losing...

jodie_warner06 Actually, my local officer contacted me because she used to work with my mom and thought that I might be able to work for them. Call your local workforce center and they should give you all the information you need.
