jude79 Nope..my foster mother used to do it for me and I plan on doing it for my kids especially when they are a bit older and understand...(I have a 16 month old son and my 2nd son is due any day). But it teaches them about feeling special and love.

catherIN I get my kids a little something every year.Usually some chocolate.Sometimes I also get them the little candy hearts that have sayings on them. For their first Valentine's day I got them a cute stuffed animal.

toonatoons i think there are hand lotions and creams for this problem. i think they crack from extreme dryness, so hydrating them with moisturing lotions or creams might help.

baldingeagle69 Udder cream works best. It's the stuff farmers use on the dairy cows. You can usually buy it at the local pharmacy now.

sylviekitty My son has Autism, and no, I'm not ashamed of him. I am not thrilled at having to deal with his temper tantrums in public, but it can't be helped and it is something I just have to deal with. But no, I'm not ashamed of him. He's my son.
