keishomeisho of course not. just because they are unable to provide their children with wealth doesn't make them a bad parent. what i define as bad parenting is not giving enough care & love to the child. those two things are the only thing needed.

I grew up thinking it was a complete sin that smoking and drinking was a sin against God! Do you think that is true? Now I don't believe that anymore. I know the bible says not to be drunk but I don't see where it clearly says not...

keishomeisho well, suicide is a sin. so when you smoke & drink, aren't you just killing yourself slowly? also, about the smoking part, secondhand smoking can also kill, so not only are you killing yourself but also the surrounding.
