maykxlot Error in translation is inevitable. This is the reason why it is always recommended that we do have other translations handy - KJV, NKJV, NIV, Revised, etc. But when it comes to doctrine, we must always refer to the original text - Hebrew and Greek.

maykxlot When God said, "do not add or take away from any of my words" he really meant that. However, he is not included in that commandment. He can add to his words anytime he want to. Thus, the latter books of the O.T. and N.T. came about.
