mellbrb If you're going to get a woodstove to replace the Fireplace, then be sure you remove the fireplace's damper before inserting the wood stove. If you don't get that first damper out it could cause you to have a chimney fire. I wish you luck with finding one and...

mellbrb We used to live in a trailer as well, and had to use a kerosene heater. I was never found of them. The price of kerosene, the smell. It did the job, but I most definitely prefer wood stoves over them as well. =-(

mellbrb Gas heaters are quite expensive, and while the wood stove is cheaper if you cut your own wood. It's quite a lot of physical labor, lol.
