mkangel Dead: not sure. Alive: hard to narrow, Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban (both have voices that make me melt and cry at the same time), Celine Dion and I adore the Black Eyed Peas (go Fergie!). Probably some country singers too.....ahhh decisions, decisions. :-)

mkangel Our 4 year old cat is forever stealing hair ties and bands. I find them everywhere! I'm not sure the appeal except for that she knows she's not supposed to take them. It's not like she doesn't have mice and toys made for cats. Silly girl!

I see alot of people always rushing to get rid of their change and I always wonder why? I never attempt to use change anywhere when I go somewhere. For example, if I go to McDonalds and the total is $5.05 I will give them $6.00...

mkangel I am the same way, I take the change from them. As a single mom that change adds up and since we are now using a laundromat, the quarters come in handy! All other change gets stashed and every couple of months I roll it and use it for clothes.

Consultant and social security taxes ?????

Am I considered self employed if I'm a consultant and not having a specifice person pay me consistently throughout the year? 15.3% for social security and medicare is HIGH! Just wondering. thanks!

mkangel Your best bet is to find a good tax accountant. Check with the Better Business Bureau in your city and talk to other self-employed people about who they use. Ask if the person will be there if you get audited. My new guy will go in my place if I ever get...
