motherof3 Not sure where you live, but may I suggest you start your very own tradition of thanks and invite your loved ones to share a special meal together. Then you can let them know how thankful you are for them and see if they'll share something they're thankful...

I have to say The Phantom of the Opera is one I could see over and over again. There are so many new ones I've yet to see that my kids have recommended: Spelling Bee. Mary Poppins, Rent, Avenue Q. What about you?

motherof3 It is very hard - more so for the families than the person with the disease as they don't really know. It makes us appreciate each moment, and we "join the journey" of those with it.

It's definately diet coke for me. I'll actually select restaurants based on the diet drink they serve. I should be an ambassador for coke products.

motherof3 Might be the best time to start a tradition - and decorating a palm tree sounds like fun! Maybe you can add something from the north to make it seem more new engladish - but at least you'll be warm!
