My computer won't let me defragment

I can run my scan disk, but when I go to defragment, it won't let me, and the error message that comes on says, "disk defragmenter has detected that Chkdsk is scheduled to run on the volume of (C) please run Chkdsk/F I don't know...

What I'm trying to figure out is, why did Karaoke singing get so popular in clubs, lounges, and bars? They put a lot of bands out of business ! Does anyone have any insight on this?
