Why is it easy for me to forgive?

I have been emotionally hurt by the person I love. but when he ask for forgiveness, why does it become so easy for me to forgive what he has done? Does this happen to the rest of you?

nanditacoomar This is something that happens to me all the time.I have never been able to explain to myself why...but I do understand that my love for him helps me overcome any ill feeling or grudge that I nurse towards him,and the moment he reassures me,...forgiving him...
