hardworkinggurl Your way doe not sound weird at all, it is a preference for you. I simply put a bit of pepper, I don't usually put any salt and then I cut into it with my fork and eat a way. I love boiled eggs by the way, something I will chop some onions and sprinkle it on....

nomisaleng cutting the egg in half and adding a little bit of soy sauce to the yolk and eating it all at once. its a bit weird for some but a winner! :D
