Space exploration.Is it worth the money

So many countries have spent billions of dollars in exploration of the planets to find out what they contain and about their environment. Are we to gain anything practical even if we find that jupiter is made up of hot gases,etc....

nitin74 It is very important to explore space. May be one day will start living on mars. find new elements and do new things in space which we never dreamt of.
