Tap water drinker here. Hubby drinks bottled..heheh I many times refill his bottled with tap...lol. My steop sis drinks bottled and her kids do as well, their dentist pointed out that might be the cause of their cavities. Bottled doesn't have as much floride=/
I drink tap cause I am cheap they both taste about the same to me.

Actually studies have been done on the fluoride impact on cavities and in fact fluoride makes it more likely for you to get cavities not less. It is also a dangerous poison to other systems in your body. Among other things it blocks the use of iodine, iodine is a very important substance and a LOT of the people in the USA don't get nearly enough of it. If you are in an area where the tap water tastes "about the same" then consider yourself lucky!

Hi,
I think that it's not good to drink tap water (it depends where do you live certainly)because it is city water and it's not very clean.. I think is better bottled water but there are exceptions always:)

I always drink tap water. I don't drink bottled water because it's too expensive for my budget. The tap water here in my town is ok. I don't think that bottled water is any better than good tap. If you have problem tap water, or a well with issues, you need to get a filter and forgo the bottle.

I sometimes use washed out plastic Miriclewhip bottles for when I don't want to walk to the tap. I drink a fair bit of water as my meds dry me out.

This is nice topic discuss, long time ago when i was still a child, i always drinks tap water. It is easy to get water. Everybody said to me it is not good for health. But i just feel ok with no problem. Then, i just stop drink tap water immidiately after my uncle get sick and need to send him to hospital for medical checking. When the doctor check for the health problem. The doctor said to my uncle, he get infected by the smal virus inside water, but my uncle did not drink tap water, he just take a bath from pipe. Then i realise, how dangerous to drink tap water. You need to boiled the water before you drink it.

I do not drink tap water ... not only does it taste nasty to me, but I have done some research into how they "treat" it and since I try to not ingest pollutants and poisons when ever possible I choose to drink only bottled (reverse osmosis processed - not just any bottled) or purified by a filter. I have a filter however it doesn't remove the nasty fluoride and needs new filter elements right now. I have been buying bottled until I get filter elements and fluoride removers for my system. I also did some looking into the water reports for my area and was appalled to discover that it is high in ARSENIC where I live! I think that if it was just the taste I could get used to it, but considering the multiple health risks I try to avoid tap water when I can.
Hope this helps!

I drink both bottled and tap water. Our tap water here seems to be pretty good, and I actually think it tastes a little bit better than some of the bottled water I've had. I still get bottled water occasionally cause it's convenient and everything, but I also drink the tap water.

I am not much of a soda drinker. I usually drink our tap water sometimes with a little lemon juice in it. I dont think bottled water is any better than tap water.

It depends where one is. For instance, in my city, our tap water has passed all health standards making it healthy to drink. On the other hand, our neighboring city's tap water has no passed health standards. I mean it is drinkable, but it is not recommended, so whenever we visit our neighboring city, we buy bottled water which brings me to my next point. Bottled water is mostly tap water, well at least Aquafina is. Don't believe me? Check this article out!

I put our tap water through a Britta pitcher to be filtered. I can't taste much difference between it and most bottled water.

Scottish water is pretty good but I still filter to get rid of some of the chemicals. I won't drink bottled anymore as there is no difference in taste or health benefits and bottled water is bad for the environment, not just because of the actual bottles but also the depletion of natural water sources.
