Well I don't have any kids to share kids movies with, but I LOVE watching kiddie movies...just about any Disney movie I love, but also other kid-geared movies, like The Last Mimzy, Harry Potter, Chronicles of Narnia, Spirit: Stallion of the Cimmeron, ..mmmm...to list them all would be a book. Must be the kid in me that enjoys them. Did you ever see the 2002 version of Peter Pan? Fantastic

Puff, the magic dragon, Mary popins, The Big bird movie. ET, was one of our favorites. My kids are grown and they still watch the wizard of Oz. My hubby still watches the Wizard of Oz. My son is grown and he watches all the super heroe movies lol He has 4 kids now so I know they are all watching them together!

I bought that movie and my favorite part is when ET is all dressed up with the hat and clothes. It was just so cute...Pop the popcorn and all of these would make a fun night!

Hi there bella. I love almost all of Disney Movies as well and i must agree that Beauty and the Beast is one of my favorites ( my girlfriend really reassembles Belle in so many ways that if i were to compare her with a Disney princess, i know who that would be). I also love most of the classics, but also like some of the new productions (not all) like: Enchanted and Wall_E.

My all time favorite would be Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast. Disney has always been good with these kind of movies. I never outgrew watching those movies again and again. I love the singing too. I remember playing the part where Ariel sings her song because I trying to write down the lyrics. Haha.

i do not have kids either but one of my all-time favorites is THE PARENT TRAP. The movie stars Dennis Quaid (i think) and a young Lindsay Lohan who portrayed 2 characters--twin sisters.
The twins were separated when they were babies, one lived with the mommy and the other with the daddy. they did not know they have a twin until they met at a summer camp. the movie is really endearing, i watch it when i can :-)

Can I cheat? I don't have my own children to watch movies with, but I do love Home Alone, preferably the first two with MacCauley Culkin in, they are so funny, and great entertainment and ideal Christmas movies too. When I worked with children and we put Thomas The Tank Engine on for them I used to enjoy it just as much as they did! As a child I used to love the Disney movies and Chittychittybangbang was one of my favourites!

The local station where I used to work was at the end of a restored steam railway. On the holidays they used to plaster a big Thomas face over the front of one of the trains and do "ride along with Thomas" days. I was *so* tempted to skip work to go along ;)

Hubby and I were just discussing this as we walked earlier. We started singing the little tune entitled 'Pachyderm Parade' from Walt Disney's The Jungle Book. We both loved that movie. The animals had such engaging personalities and there was so much symbolism in them. My second favorite would have to be The Little Mermaid. I loved the scene where the chef was trying to catch the sea creature. The music from The Little Mermaid is awesome too!

Sorry I missed this discussion Bella (I have missed you btw!)as I was away for a while....lot going on! But anyway lol I like the Harry Potter movies! and of course almost all Disney movies, as a favorite, I don't really know I would be hard pressed to pick just one. The movie doesn't matter to me as much as the time spent together!

I am very fond of Cinderella and also Wind in the Willows which is also my favourite children's book. It is a long time since I sat down with any children an watched a movie together. But when I did, any Disney cartoon seemed to hit the spot.

Oh, there are so many. Mary Poppins, Beauty and the Beast too, and the Harry Potter movies. I think the Incredibles is probably my favorite so far! I am so glad I have a kid that I can take to these movies so I get to see them too!!!!! When my son is too old, I will have to volunteer to take friends' kids to movies... just kidding. I have always loved "kids" movies as well as "adult" ones!

I love Disney's Alladin because the singing voice of the character back then was a Filipina - Lea Salonga whom I like so much.

I don't have kids, but it doesn't mean I don't like their movies! As a child my parents preferred me to watch older movies for kids. At the time they felt like the movies labeled for kids really didn't have much value in their content. So I grew up with Mary Poppins and Bedknobs and Broomsticks. I loved those movies, and I still do! Kid movies today that I enjoy are Shrek, A Bug's Life, and Matilda. Movies like that.

Our budget has been tight lately to the point of not even being able to rend movies, so we've resorted to our old VHS movies a few times recently.
My two favorites are The Fox and the Hound and The Little Princess.
Much of the reason is purely sentimental. Fox and the Hound was the very first movie that we bought my daughter when she was little. We played that movie a hundred times! Shortly after, I got her the movie The Little Princess. It was a favorite of both of ours. We watched that movie before bedtime many nights.
We had a nice time watching those movies again a few weeks ago.
In general, I lose interest in most kids movies really quick. Especially now the my kids are "older" 12 and 16. When they were little, I got more enjoyment out of watching THEM than I got out of watching the movies.
Have you noticed that a lot of those kids movies have some pretty scary themes? lol

Hey buddies
I just love the kids movies.they are very enter taining and very informative. They
also tell about the differenrt cultures of the different nations. The science-fiction
films tell about all the science to the children which makes the subject more
interesting and enjoyable. And there are also fantasy movies which makes the kids to
be innovative.
