What should I write about?

Okay, so this is my first post. What should I write about? I don't know. Let's start with what is going on with me. Okay!
Today was the last day of a 30 day walking challenge I set up for myself. I really don't think I lost any weight but there is definitely an improvement on my mid section. I fit into clothes much better. I just wanted to see what I could accomplish by just walking without changing anything in my diet. I'm pretty happy with the outcome. The next challenge is to start running again.
Considering it is still in the mid 30's outside I will continue using my treadmill. I will use the 15% incline to increase the difficulty. Oh! I'm including crunches this time, as well. A strong core is a solid foundation. I will adjust my diet. But it will just be things I like doing anyway. I've just gotten lazy in the last couple of years.
I'll be increasing water intake, adding protein powder to my morning oatmeal and try add more greens. I'll still eat what I usually eat. I'm not really such an unhealthy eater. I could just do better. Really, can't we all?

Yeah....that's usually how that works. It kinda was a rhetorical question. But thanks for the feedback. :-D

I'm sure I will get used to it. It's kind of nice that I'm anonymous for the most part. Not like my Facebook. I have over 400 friends and I discovered that I know each and every one of them. In fact, the only ones I don't know are distant relatives that I friended. LOL!

Welcome to myLot. Enjoy the site!
The first step for all newbies is to read the Guidelines to learn what is allowed or not on the site. Then you can write a post introducing yourself. Tell us a bit about yourself.
Furthermore, read around as much as you can, Like and Comment on other members' posts. Only then will members come to your site and do the same. This is called interaction.
Don't expect too much money-wise. If you reach $5 a month (the payout limit), you can call yourself lucky.
Please add the name of your country to your account page.

@KindredSoul The number of followers is of no importance on myLot. If your followers don't Like and Comment on your posts, they'll remain mere numbers. What you need is people who interact with you. You Like and Comment on their posts and they do the same for you.

@MALUSE Well, perhaps I used the wrong word...maybe? I had 19 notifications regarding either comments or likes and 2 messages. I'm not sure if messages matter. Sorry, still learning.

Thank you so much! That was highly informative. I believe if I am reading my notifications correctly, I've had 19 follows? Or something like that. It's only been one day. Not going to expect much. Hope for the best, right? Thus far, it's just been a blast and everyone has been so incredibly kind to this newby.

Yes. Joining this site was a bit impromptu. I heard about it on YouTube. I thought I would give a try. Especially, if you can make a small income. I figured I would give it 30 days, as I am other paying apps. None of them seem to pay much but combined they could probably pay a bill or two.

Thank you! I'm anxious to find out where I will be with this in 30 days. I like doing the 30 day things.

@KindredSoul I do agree with you. Sometimes they won't bother to read it. I have the same sentiments before. Now, I don't mind at all. As long as I had shared things up here.

I have much I can write about, but I figure no one would really care to read it. Oh, well! If they do great! If not....that will be fine, too. :-)

Im beyond the worries of diet and exercise. Thank goodness! I had a weight problem most of my life and since I lost the weight, I have kept it off just by walking outside and connecting with nature. Much of a weight problem has to do with stress. Thats why we overeat.

LOL! There were times I felt the same way. But I've always been athletic. I used to lead hikes for 10 years. I would always tell my friends if they are concerned about their weight and are not into exercising just go for a walk.
I went through a bad stretch and just let life run over me a few times. I was on meds that caused me to gain at least 20 pounds in a very short time. Then I realized I couldn't fit into anything unless is stretched. I really don't want to go buy a whole new wardrobe. I thought this would be a good opportunity to test my advise and just walk. It worked! But now, I find I want to do more. Not that I have to...I could just keep walking. I just want to. What else can I accomplish in 30 days. I have plans for lots and lots of things to try and learn. I feel like I have much to look forward to!
