Satisfaction from a scent.

Can you be satisfied by a scent? I have found that just the aroma of coffee brewing satisfies me to the extent where I am okay if I decided not to have a cup. It's scent is enough to put a smile on my face. Of course, I usually have one cup every day or every other day because I am trying to cut back on my caffeine intake - and I don't really care for decaf. However, if the situation arises where I am advised to stop drinking coffee, I think I would manage okay on the scent alone. So, is there a scent that can keep you satisfied? I know someone who doesn't smoke but loves the scent of tobacco. What is one of your favorite scents?

my weird sense of smell likes the gasoline when the car is filled up. but seriously, i like the scent of a freshly-brewed coffee, or coffee from the 3 in 1 sachet in boiled water in a mug.

@Kandae11 yes, these small packs of 3 in 1 coffee mix smell good in very hot water in a mug. but i think it is my idiosyncrasy to love the smell of the gasoline.

Gasoline?. When I was always on the move, nescafe 3 in 1 sachets came in very handy.

Chlorine is used in bleach and many other things - are you referring to bleach or other disinfectants?

There was a time, I just sniffed my babies' baby powder scent & felt in heaven. These days, some jasmine similar scents are good enough (the scents of my childhood).

I do love the aroma of coffee, if not the taste. By the way, they're finding coffee is good for you and will extend your life. Scents I love - fresh cut grass, fresh baked bread would top the list.

I don't smoke and have never smoked but I love standing next to a smoker. I take in deep breaths and just love it. I'm glad I never started smoking or I think I might have become addicted.

@Kandae11 We have a bakery by us that bakes the bread to go to stores and the smell is out of this world. It does not make me what to eat bread all the time.As a matter of fact I do not eat much bread these days.

There are scents that I like but I know it wouldn't keep me satisfied I just like the smell of it, like the smell of a new book. I'd like to inhale through the pages hehe (but only buying the book would satisfy me ) I also like the smell of freshly baked bread from the oven and again only eating it would satisfy me hehe The smell of coffee too is very inviting to me but I just like it I don't drink coffee.
