My vertical garden is up and half-planted

I wrote a while back about purchasing a vertical garden. Well, it’s now up and has some plants in it. There are 50 pockets so I have a way to go yet to fill them all. I need to decide what colours I want more of. Some more foliage plants might be nice and I’ve planted a couple of tiny succulents. Hopefully they’ll be big and bold one day. I also have one strawberry plant. I guess some varieties will do better than others so it will be a learning experience. I’m pleased with it so far. I think it will look nice when all the pockets are filled. I would have liked a less obtrusive colour for the pockets but I guess they’ll fade and get soiled soon enough.

This is really cute and it's adding a nice green accent to that wall. Do not worry the colour of the pockets will fade soon.

I bought the pockets online and this was the only colour available. The pockets actually hold a bit more soil than I thought they would.

@JudyEv I am every time surprised to see how much soil even small pots need.

Haha. GREEN indeed but it will fade I'm sure. Good idea about some trailing plants. This is only day 1. I can now decide what other colours I need. I have one strawberry plant too but one isn't going to be enough.

I saw one of these last summer and it was really pretty. Yours is off to a great start and it will be so pretty when it’s all planted. Now I want one for my fence!

It is a dream for me to have a vertical garden. I am still configuring how to implement it in my mind. I want more of a herb garden actually

I wonder if the pockets would work like a bonsai pot and any trees would stay tiny.

I bought the pockets online. They weren't terribly expensive although I'm not sure how long they'll last. I guess I'll find out.

Wow! That is great especially for someone living with limited space but wants to plant. Can’t wait to see how it looks when all 50 pockets are filled. It’s going to be awesome watching everything grow and fill out!

The screws don't go through to the neighbours' side but I don't think they'd mind anyway. Could you maybe have one inside somewhere?
