Do you take a shower with hot, warm or cold water?

It is difficult for me to take cold showers, not even in summer, I always prefer it warm but during winter there is nothing like a hot bath to make me feel relaxed. Cold showers are better for us, to our immune system, to our skin and hair and if you take it in the morning it will definitely help you to wake up I am trying to decrease my showers temperature but, oh boy, it has been difficult. Do you take a shower with hot, warm or cold water? Picture from web.

If I am in the countryside, I usually take a bath with cold water. Here in my city, it is always cold. So I prefer to use luke warm water.

@nela13 I do like it if the weather is so cold, especially now. We are experiencing a heavy rain due to the typhoon.

I take warm to hot showers. I could not even think about about a cold shower, not even when I was young.

I like it warm. The only benefit I can see from taking cold showers is to save on heating costs and water usage, as you spend less time in there. Brrrrrrr

I like warm baths but not hot bath. But I always end up with the normal temperature because I don't have heater.

@nela13 Speaking of cold showers - I went to my brother's apartment on Thursday. The water is always cold in his place. I can't stay longer in the bathroom because of the water.

Too hot baths are a big no for me, I got used to warm water but I think I would never be capable of having cold showers.

Never pure cold, but I will take a cooler shower during the summers, but during fall and winter and even spring, it's piping hot. Even when we get into the pool, the water temperature is ideal at around 86 degrees.

Pool water is around our body temperature, right? I use celsius to measure temperature, I don't know in Farenheit.

@nela13 Shouldn't be. That would be way too warm for pool water. 86 degrees Fahrenheit is around 30 degrees Celsius. Body temperature is 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit or 37 degrees Celsius.

My usual preference is normal or cold water when it comes to shower. I have that preference while the outside temperature is cold. But if it is too cold outside, I would prefer hot showers. You are right on cold showers- it has helped me to awaken myself especially after my morning routines and get really ready to face the day. In case, it is summer I pefer having shower nly in cold water and that too twice a day. It helps me to get better sleep apart from the air conditioning. I also agree that a good bath help us get fresh and feel more relaxed. Good to know your preferences. Enjoy your weekend!

I cannot take a cold shower, ever. Not even in the summer. I would have to say my showers are very warm to hot, I know it is drying to the skin to use water that is too hot, but I really love my warm/hot showers.
