I use a cable connection. I am not positive but I think cable is faster than DSL.

Cable is not necessarily faster than DSL, it depends on the speed that you sign up for.

I am using DSL , I don't think it is good . If my DSL has expired , I will use Cable to have a try , then I will give you the best answer . OK?

Since I changed from dial-up about 4-5 years ago I've been always using cable and never had major problems with it but since I never tried dsl access I can't really tell you which is better but I can tell you cable is good, at least in my case it has been until now.

That depends, cable is usually faster than dsl but it has too many drawbacks.
a)When your tv cable is affected so will the cable internet.(storms, multiple cable connections)
b)The cable speed slows down dramatically when you have too many cable users in your area because you share one big connection unlike dsl which is a dedicated line. When everyone in you area that has cable dsl surfs the web the connection automatically slows down.
I used cable internet before and I was unsatisfied by the constant slow downs. I never had a stable connection speed. Since then I've been using dsl for 6 years now and had very few problems. My ISP also had a promo, for every additional year that I subscribe they'll double my dsl speed but leave the pricing the same. I just started with a 256kbps plan and I'm now averaging 3.5 to 4.8mbps. Dsl can also be as fast as cable it all depends on what speed plan you'll purchase and what's the price difference between the dsl and cable.

I have the Vios service which is supposed to be better than DSL through my phone company. I did have cable before. To me, there is no difference. Cable will tell you they are a faster connection while DSL will say that they are faster. The services are through different lines. I think they are both the same but cable was more expensive for me so I switched.

I use dsl and never had any problems....if you use cable you must introduce a cable in your house...whereas dsl uses the same wire as the traditional telephone..in that aspect dsl is more comfortable...anyway both are nice. Speed and stability is what counts.

I use a cable modem. In my area, cable is a good deal faster and I've a package deal with my cable TV. It depends on where you are. Different areas you may find DSL to be the faster choice.
