louisex2 sometimes due to virus or inflitration ur windows get corrupted or sometimes u may have faced problem like "hal.dll missing" or "ntldr missing"...so at that time u can use recovery console to fix these type of errors...or sometimes u r unable to...

louisex2 yeah sure...u can have both operating systems on ur computer...but I think linux is not comparable with windows...it's still under beta...it's developing very-very slowly...I have tried knoppix linux...not much functions it has & not too...
