gscs1838 i will never put my mom in a nursing home. she took care of me when i couldn't take care of myself (when i was a baby) and i will do the same for her. i hope that my children (if i ever have any) will feel the same way.

snowflake5 There have been problems with nursing home staff being cruel to vulnerable old people. Ultimately the only people who care enough to be kind to you in your old age are your own family. My advice, try to stay hale and hearty and look after your health...
