My 6 year old wants his own email address. I am not sure it's a good idea. I was thinking that with supervision and only giving his email address to family and close friends, maybe it would be a good learning experience for him....

So, it's been quite a while since I've logged in to mylot, and the $7+ I remember having is gone. How long do you have to be gone for them to take it, and is there any way to get it back? Plus, now you have to click through all...

Authors love reviews, unless they're bad. Sometimes bad reviews are just someone's opinion though. Have you read an awful, badly written book? Was the author well-known? What made it so un-enjoyable? Do you enjoy a book that is...

Sillychick the worst book i ever read was called criminal justice (i'm pretty sure) and I don't remember who the author was, but i think he was pretty well known. It was poorly written because it just didn't flow, very hokey, unrealistic dialogue. the story line was ok,...

I have been struggling with this for a long time. I stayed home with my son for 3 years, then went back to work. Now he is 5 and in kindergarten, and I see how difficult it is for him. He goes to daycare before and after school,...

With so many other social networks, why did you choose Facebook? Do you have a fan page? Has Facebook helped you advertise your business, book, short stories or whatever it is you are networking for? If you have a huge following,...

Sillychick I chose facebook because there are so many people there it is a great way to connect with people and for fan pages, to spread the word... there may be other pages that work also, but I have found that it is easier to keep up when I use just one, and that...

Yep...come next January, OLTL says good bye. Sad to see it go. Been a viewer since 1969! But have to say...it has been a let down lately. Same old "whos the daddy" and baby switch and marry/divorce and who's in who's bed..etc. I...

Sillychick I agree to an exent... it is sad to see these long standing shows being cancelled. Though I rarely have time to watch, I do occasionally, usually on Soap Net. I will miss it. But it is true that they are really just repeating the same lines with different...

I am trying to save some money, but am having a hard time. I was considering opening another savings account and making it, in my mind, a deposit only account. I mean that I will put the money in with the understanding that it is...

Sillychick I definitely suggest going to another bank, and even better the credit union that doesn't have a branch near you. You will be able to access your money, it's not out of reach forever, but the fact that it's a little more difficult means you'll be less likely...

Ok, I know that since the beginning of time I have been told that once a frozen food is thawed it cannot be refrozen. My question is-- Why? What happens to it? Does this go for all foods, or just uncooked meats? Any answers?

Sillychick Yes, I think all mothers feel this way from time to time. Although sometimes it may make you feel guilty, it is natural to feel that you need a break. I would try to find someone to take the baby for a couple of hours while the older one is at school and do...
