sireesuccess when we have windows xp desktop we can run other operating system using dual booting.one drive will be in 'c' and we can store the other in either 'd' drive r some other drive.

sireesuccess well actually it depends according to our problem.if we have small problems we can repair it by re-installing the os if we have complicated problems we can format the hard disk.

sireesuccess we can remove bad sectors up to some extent using antivirus programs such as notron,avg.but bad sectors from r hard disk cannot be removed completely.

sireesuccess as one of our friend said that we can change the partition by a software called "partition magic" . we have other softwares too to change the partition.
