siriya Wow you do a really good hacking. I will not do it, looks very lengthy procedure. Easiest way is in msconfig in to boot.ini tab and check /noguiboot thats it then click ok. I think this is the easiest way. You method might do some advanced change,good work

siriya Ya opera is also good and I use opera most of the time. But firefox has many addons which makes it secure. I am not telling opera is unsecure, it is also good.

siriya How did you remove your boot screen. Did you use msconfig to do that. Now how do you feel without the boot screen. Does it really speeds up by 15 seconds. I just want to know so that I can also try that. Please reply

i was trying to log on to mylot.com on a friend@s pc only to find that the GO buttonin the internet explorer was missing and then the address bar also was no where to be found,i tried to get them back but did not succeed .anyone...

siriya What happened, still not got it worked? You should be having address bar by this time. Leave a reply, I just want to know whether it solved your problem or not. I will be pleased to hear that it solved the problem. I suggest you to use firefox for browsing

siriya Thats great with logitec. I have not checked the warranty. It is still happier to hear that they replaced your mouse with new one. They also provide good service after sale. I am happy that I also have logitec mouse and it had no problem till now

siriya You can use tuneup utilities to change and also to create custom boot screen.

How many times do you switch on computer per day. I usually switch on about 3 times a day, once I switch on I keep it for atleast 1 hour. So what about you guys, do you ever shutdown!

siriya Won't it affect the computer by leaving it on 24/7. Doesn't it affect the processor or harddisk, as they might get heated up. I don't know about this much, I am asking

siriya You can calculate required weight for height. It is called BMI(Body mass inex) calculated by weigt in kg divided by (height) square in metres.

siriya But this computer has certainly wasted most of my student life. I am a medical student and really want to say I don't need computer. But I waste most of time in front of computer doing ?engineering work. I know it is useful for engineer students.

siriya The registry deletion said in step 9, 10, 11 will remove its start up entry but it will not correct the prohibition of showing hidden folder made by virus, for that still more registry modification is required. In one of my posts one person has commented.

siriya You can also use autopatcher which is a collection of updates. I think it is released every month. It will also contain nice tools. It is useful for those who do not want updates from microsoft site.

siriya Ya you have told it in 5th step. But even after doing all these things you can not view any hidden folder even if you select show hidden in folder option. For that registry modification is required.

siriya He is taking about the trojan which has a process name svchost.exe. There are about 4 ve 5 running which are all windows processes. Do not stop those your system will become unstable and will reboot.

siriya Well its difficult to keep it clean because when you put your pendrive to infected pc it will enter your pendrive. You can delete the 'autorun.inf' file present in the pendrive. Autorun.inf directs the pc to run that trojan.

siriya I would like to try that proxytunnel. These tunnelling will be very helpful to bypass the proxy restriction. It tunnels through ssl and you can bypass the proxy restriction. I want a free and fast tunnelling service as many free services are very slow.

siriya I need that particular proxy to connect to the internet. So is there any way like http-tunnel, but it is slow for free users. Is there any free service like http-tunnel which is fast and free..
